A charcoal drawing by U.S. Army Capt. Dree Boggs, the support transportation officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, provided a healthy outlet for relieving deployment stress. Entitled “Hold On,” it is an expression of the emotions she felt after a rocket attack at Forward Operating Base Salerno, and how the Soldiers in her section take care of each other. Boggs a native of Bossier City, La., is one of several artists using their creative talents to help pass the time and to enrich the lives of fellow soldiers.
