Capt. Marc H. Ginez explains the role of machine guns within an artillery battery to members of the Ministry of Defense and the South Kanto Defense Bureau Nov. 16. The officials also watched live-fire training from M777 howitzers and observed the entire process of a fire mission. Ginez is the commanding officer for Golf Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, which, along with Golf and Headquarters Batteries, is here to conduct Artillery Relocation Training Program 11-3.
