BU2 is a part of Convoy Security Element, Team 2 aboard Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. NMCB 1 “The First and the Finest” are currently deployed to Afghanistan executing general engineering, infrastructure construction and project management in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
