Spouses build relationships, learn during 3/5 Jane Wayne Day

Cpl. Justin Smithherter, mortarman, India Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, helps Siobhan Braband fire an M16 A4 service rifle during the battalion's Jane Wayne Day, Oct. 27. Braband was one of many participants who took the opportunity to gain a better understanding of what Marines do on a daily basis. The guests fired rifles, navigated the obstacle course and learned close order drill.
