An MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 flies over a newly built landing zone aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., during a confined area landing exercise Oct. 20. Sixteen Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 374 spent more than three weeks clearing the area and constructing two new landing pads for squadrons belonging to 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in preparation for upcoming deployments.
