Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team relax under makeshift shelters at Combat Out Post Bad Pakh, July 30, after coming back from an operation. The operation lasted roughly a week and a half and 179th Infantry helped clear several valleys in southern Laghman province resulting in the finding of opium sites and an Improvised Explosive Device.
