Harrison, Sr., commander of the United States Army Japan, I Corps (Forward), out of Camp Zama, Japan, what the forces are doing during Orient Shield 11 operations in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, Oct. 18. The bilateral training exercise is being conducted from Oct. 11 through Oct. 20, which the exercise enhances the U.S. Army and the JGSDF in combat readiness and interoperability at the tactical level while strengthening relationships between the two forces.
