Emily Maltaverne, a fifth-grade student at Zion Lutheran School in Rapid City is presented a miniature billboard of her winning drug awareness illustration from Steve Blake, Lamar Outdoor Advertising sales manager, Oct. 6, 2011, at the west side Family Thrift Express Center. The Red Ribbon Week billboard contest was put on by the South Dakota National Guard Counterdrug program to bring more drug and alcohol awareness to elementary students in the area.
