2011 Patriot Day Retreat ceremony

First responders from the local community attend McConnell's 2011 Patriot Day Retreat Ceremony at Fire Station 1 Sept. 7, 2011, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. More than 130 first responders from the 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron, 22nd Security Forces Squadron and 22nd Medical Group joined their civilian counterparts for the ceremony to honor those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
