An AV-8B Harrier jet from Marine Aircraft Group 13 lands aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard to prepare for night flight operations during Exercise Dawn Blitz, Sept. 30. The Harriers will join the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in December. The Marines are capable of performing amphibious operations anywhere around the globe, from assaulting enemy beachhead to bringing ashore supplies to a hurricane-ravaged nation.
