A telltale sign of infestation, “tubes” like these found in a building at Forward Operating Base Zeebrugge, Afghanistan, provide subterranean termites with a passage of travel above ground. Two sailors from the Preventative Medicine Unit aboard Camp Leatherneck visited the base to quell a growing pest problem, which included Oriental hornets and termites.
