Army Maj. Gen. Michael S. Maj. Gen. Michael S. Repass, right, commander, U.S. Special Operations Command Europe, and Maj. Gen. Illie Botos, Chief of the Romanian Intelligence Directorate, perform pass and review during the opening ceremony for Jackal Stone 11, Sept. 17. The purpose of the exercise, being held in Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine, is to enhance special operations forces capacity and interoperability between the nine participating nations, while simultaneously building cooperation and partnerships.
