Kadena honors POWs, MIAs

Members of the Kadena Air Base Honor Guard add the Prisoner of War and Missing in Action flag during Kadena’s POW/MIA ceremony Sept. 16, 2011. The national POW/MIA recognition day is observed on the third Friday of September every year, but it is important to always remember the sacrifice of prisoners of war and those missing in action.
