Navy personnel from U.S. Strategic Command, Navy Operational Support Center Omaha, and Navy Recruiting District Omaha, pay a visit to the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. Active and Reserve component sailors visited with veterans at the medical center as a part of Omaha Navy Week, one of 21 Navy weeks across America in 2011. Navy weeks are intended to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
