Pancake, an airframe mechanic with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 and a Youngstown, Ohio, native, installs a panel to the top of a CH-53E Super Stallion aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Sept. 13. Airframe mechanics strip all panels from an aircraft after every 200 hours of flight-time to repair or replace any possible bolts, cracks or chips.
