A Serbian Ceremonial Honor Guard member stands watch over the Military Academy parade Sept. 10, 2011, in front of the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade. Maj. Gen. Deborah A. Ashenhurst, Ohio adjutant general, attended the ceremony where she congratulated the new officers on their accomplishment, and encouraged newly appointed female officers with experiences from her own military career. Ashenhurst and a delegation from Ohio are visiting Serbia as part of the ongoing National Guard State Partnership Program, promoting and coordinating activities between Serbia and Ohio.
