An emergency medical services technician assesses the notional gunshot-wound of Pfc. Micah E. Smith, an administrative specialist with the Installation Personnel Administration Center, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and a Yuba City, Calif., native, during an active shooter with mass casualty scenario drill aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Aug. 30. The hazard drill was part of the Provost Marshal’s Office and H&HS Aircraft, Rescue, and Firefighters annual training preparing for any emergency situation that may arise during the MCAS Miramar Air Show.
