Retired Capt. Edward Q. Hicks recounts his early experiences in the Corps as a Montford Point Marine, Aug. 26, 2011. The surviving Montford Point Marines arrived in Washington for a series of events in their honor including a formal salute by Commandant James F. Amos during the Evening Parade at Marine Barracks Washington.
