Combat Medic Pfc. Elise McNabb, of Hobart, Ind., part of the Indiana National Guard 738th Area Support Medical Company, performs aid on a life-like computerized mannequin at the Medical Simulation Training Center at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, Ind., Aug. 19. The aim of this state-of-the-art facility is to create a controlled, stressful environment for medics to train in, preparing them to perform under the stresses of actual combat.
