A chief petty officer selectee lifts a Zodiac inflatable boat to drain out the water trapped within. The training evolution is part of induction training intended to build camaraderie and esprit-de-corps among chief petty officer selectees and chief petty officers. Induction is the third phase of a year-long training process first class petty officers are put through and signifies the rightful passage into the rank.
