Two airmen monitor an air pressure regulator as a crane prepares to lift the nose of a KC-135 Stratotanker during an exercise at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., Aug. 13. The 191st Maintenance Squadron performed an exercise in which they simulated a KC-135 Stratotanker had damaged nose gear and a crane was needed to move the aircraft to a safe location for repair. At the tail of the aircraft a series of inflated air bladders were used to help support the aircraft during the operation.
