U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Humberto Medina, maintenance technician, replaces the cover on the port outboard engine after servicing the 25-foot Boston Whaler. Medina is a patrol boat engineer with U.S. Coast Guard Port Security Unit 313, forward deployed from Everett, Wash., providing anti-terrorism and force protection at Kuwait Naval Base. His unit is deployed as part of Combined Task Force 56 in support of maritime and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
