John Blackwell, Task Force commander New Horizons Suriname 2011 (right), perform a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Lelydorp playground here July 29, 2011. The playground is one of several projects that the U.S. military personnel are working on in support of the New Horizons 2011 exercise. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
