PATROL BASE TALIBJAN, Helmand province, Afghanistan - Lance Cpl. Travis Moldovan of North Canton, Ohio, shares his memories of a fallen brother-in-arms during a memorial ceremony. The ceremony was held to honor Spring Valley, Wis., native and close friend Cpl. Michael C. Nolen, who was recently killed in action while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Both Moldovan, a Squad Automatic Weapon gunner, and Nolen, a team leader, belong to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 8.
