U.S. Marines with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Battalion Landing Team, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, demonstrate the functions of a 81 mm mortar to two Australian army soldiers during an Opening Day Ceremony in Rockhampton, Australia, in support of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2011. TS11 demonstrates the U.S. and Australian commitment to their military alliance, and enhances stability and security throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
