Newly-minted non-commissioned officers with the 299th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division – Center, recite an oath during an non-commissioned officer induction ceremony June 18, 2011 at Camp Liberty, Iraq. More than 20 soldiers, 2nd AAB, 1st Infantry Division, USD-C were inducted into the Non-commissioned Officer Corps, the storied “backbone of the Army,” at the ceremony.
