Pennsylvania native, C-5M loadmaster, helps make Air Force history as part of Arctic airlift mission

Ice-covered areas are seen from above the Arctic Circle from the window of a C-5M Super Galaxy on a mission from Dover Air Force Base, Del., June 5. The C-5M's mission was to complete the first Arctic overflight from Dover AFB to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The plane successfully landed at Bagram just over 15 hours later, June 6. Staff Sgt. Tramainn McKee, a C-5 loadmaster at Dover AFB, was one of the 14 crew members on the mission.
