Dover master sergeant, Seattle native, serves as C-5 flight engineer; participates in historic airlift mission

Ice-covered areas are seen from above the Arctic Circle from the window of a C-5M Super Galaxy on a mission from Dover Air Force Base, Del., on June 5, 2011. The C-5M's mission was to complete the first Arctic overflight from Dover AFB to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The plane successfully landed at Bagram just over 15 hours later on June 6, 2011. Master Sgt. Bradley Bronov, C-5 flight engineer from the 9th Airlift Squadron, was one of 14 crewmembers on the mission.
