Indonesian soldiers conduct an area search as part of their counter improvised explosive devices training, the focus of the field training exercise during Exercise Garuda Shield, June 14. Over the course of two weeks, U.S. soldiers from the Asia Pacific C-IED Fusion Center are training approximately 240 Indonesian Armed Forces soldiers on identifying and defeating IEDs and how to react when facing danger.
