Gen. James F. Amos, 35th commandant of the Marine Corps, talks to Marines and sailors at Camp Schwab’s theater, June 13. As part of the town-hall-style meeting, the general and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Micheal P. Barrett, the 17th sergeant major of the Marine Corps, also answered several questions from audience members. The two were on Okinawa as part of a seven-day tour of the Pacific Region. They went on to talk with Marines and sailors at Camps Hansen Kinser and were scheduled to talk with Marines and sailors at Camp Courtney and Marine Corps Air Station Futenma June 14 before departing for MCAS Iwakuni on mainland Japan.
