Lt. Col. Christopher H. Oliver, commanding officer, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 362, greets Lt. Gen. Tran Quang Khuê, deputy chief of the general staff, People’s Army of Vietnam, and four other Vietnamese delegates at Hangar 101 June 7. The U.S. Pacific Command invited the officers to Hawaii to explore and engage in various military search and rescue and disaster management procedures in hopes of expanding their own capabilities.
