Louisiana National Guardsmen, in support of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office and other emergency agencies, conduct a search and rescue mission in the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve in Marrero, La. in search of Dr. Francisco Piedrahita, May 25. Approximately 40 Guardsmen assisted the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office as well as the National Park Service, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana Search and Rescue, and the New Orleans Fire Department, totaling 111 personnel.
