Master Sgt. Dan Dolan, National Guard Bureau Counterdrug Drug Demand Reduction Administrator for Virginia, helped describe the affects of tobacco to two young ladies during the NGBCD DDR Anti-Tobacco program presented at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Counternarcotics & Global Threat, William Wechsler, April 28, for children of Department of Defense employees during ‘Bring Your Child to Work Day’ at the Pentagon. This presentation included an actual set of animal lungs which helps youth understand the impact of smoking. The activity involved two lungs, one healthy and one subjected to chemicals. Soldiers and airmen from the DDR team talked to more than 100 children and parents about the hazards of tobacco and provided them with facts and fun activities.
