Sgt. Brian Thompson, a CH-53E crew chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, prepares the dual point suspension system used during external lifts before a flight. Two CH-53E Super Stallion crews flew to Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms to assist 7th Marines Communications Platoon with a field training exercise. The HMH-361 crews transported more than 2,000 pounds of cargo and two humvees to the top of a mountain for the exercise.
