Recruits from Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion do battle with one another inside the Octagon, April 15, during Alpha Company's Crucible. The Octagon houses boxing matches and pugil stick bouts between recruits in an event called The Battle of Belleau Wood, which tests the recruits courage and boosts their confidence.
