Brown II sign a memorandum of understanding April 14 in San Salvador during the final planning conference for Fuerzas Comando 2011. Senior leaders from both the U.S. and El Salvadorian militaries worked together in order to finalize all coordination efforts for the exercise. Fuerzas Comando is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored annual Special Forces skills competition, to be held in El Salvador this year. The event helps promote interoperability, security and military partnerships throughout the Americas. More than 20 nations will be participating in this year's event. Col.
