Seaman Ross Platt, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, removes fresh asphalt from the screed area of the paver with a shovel during road construction as part of a pavement project on Naval Station Rota, Spain. NMCB 74 is currently deployed to Camp Mitchell, Spain, supporting Commander, Task Force 68. The work conducted by the Seabees is in direct support of the forward presence as described in the Maritime Strategy.
