During the operation, the helicopter picked up and transported the 11,500-pound tractor to Forward Operating Base Azadi, Afghanistan, to support landing zone improvements. The HST conducts similar operations numerous times a day to sustain FOBs throughout Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in support of International Security Assistance Force operations.
