California Marine keeps Camp Dwyer cool

Lance Cpl. Joel Ballard, a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic with Regimantal Combat Team 1, tests the power of an air conditioner here, March 29. The 29-year-old Santa Rosa, Calif., native graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in political science. Ballard is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
