Maj. Gen. Mark A. Brilakis, the commanding general of 3rd Marine Division and commander of Joint Forces Land Component Command for Operation Tomodachi, exits a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter here March 25. The JFLCC was established to assist the Japanese Government in providing relief to those affected by the devastating 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that swept northern Japan March 11.
