First Lt. Jordan King, medic platoon leader, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, attached to 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, 1st Infantry Division, returns a salute to an Iraqi police officer before presenting the graduate with a certificate of completion for completing a four-week Emergency Medical Technician course, Feb. 28. The graduation ceremony held at Kirkuk Training Center honored 38 men from Kirkuk's Iraqi Police, Emergency Response Unit and fire departments for achievements in completing the province's first Iraqi-ran emergency medical technician course.
