Cpl. John E. Sturgeon, a personal security detail team leader with the 36th Infantry Division, lends comedian Brooks Jackson-Colyar a supporting hand with the M9 9 mm pistol, March 14, during a USO-sponsored all female comedy event. The 40-year-old native of Denton, Texas, helped the comedians safely fire the pistol and the M4 rifle during their stop at United States Division-South, part of a Women’s History Month tour visiting troops in Iraq and Kuwait titled “It’s NOT That Time of the Month,” March 8-18.
