Horn of Africa’s operating picture becomes visual

Sgt. 1st Class Kenneth Buttrum of D Company 490th Civil Affairs Battalion shows Capt. Paul Stambaugh of the 490th Civil Affairs Battalion the Map Human Terrain Software. The 490th will use this program to gather civil and socio-cultural information to share with other units. Soldiers are using this program to link entities to create a visual area of operations.
