Soldiers of the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, acted as controllers, observers and role-players during a three-week training mission at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Fort Polk, La., last month. Soldiers of the Raiders squadron, along with soldiers from throughout the Dragon brigade, helped train soldiers of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, out of Fort Hood, Texas, as the unit prepares for its upcoming deployment to Iraq.
