Soldiers from the Fort Knox, Ky.,-based 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, along with other service members, celebrate a touchdown during a Super Bowl XLV broadcast, Forward Operating Base Salerno, Khowst province, Afghanistan, Feb. 7. The 10-hour time difference between the game location of Dallas and eastern Afghanistan did little to dampen enthusiasm for the game, won by the Green Bay Packers. FOB Salerno officials arranged to open the dining facility earlier so that soldiers could watch the game and enjoy some football-related cuisine.
