Mayor of Chigasaki City Nobuaki Hattori, left, and Capt. Eric Gardner, commanding officer of Naval Air Facility Atsugi, sign a Memorandum Of Understanding For Disaster Preparedness. The agreement provides for Naval Air Facility Atsugi and Chigasaki to assist each other in event of a man-made or natural disaster. This is the sixth memorandum of understanding signed between Naval Air Facility Atsugi Atsugi and the nine municipalities that surround the base.
