Las Vegas resident Air Force Maj. Treavor Johnson, officer in charge, listens to Stockton, Calif., resident Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Carl A. Thompson, non-commissioned officer in charge, both of the Engineering section at the Joint NetOps Control Center –Afghanistan, explain to Army Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, chief of the Army Reserve, that his unit really needs him to redeploy soon when Stultz joked about him extending for another six-month deployment. Johnson, who is from the 99th Communications Squadron in Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and Thompson, who is from 18th Communications Squadron in Kadena Air Base, Japan, are both currently assigned to Task Force Thunder, the signal mission in Afghanistan.
