Oregon Army National Guard platoon receives Presidential Unit Citation

Maj. Gen. Raymond Rees, the adjutant general, Oregon (left), stands with Oregon Attorney General John Kroger, 41 Infantry Brigade Combat Team commander Col. Eric Bush, and 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment commander Lt. Col. Eric Riley, during a ceremony honoring soldiers of 2nd Platoon, Bravo Company, 2-162 IN BN, where they were awarded the Presidential Unit Citation at the Corvallis Armory, Jan. 8. The soldiers received the award for their heroic actions during the Battle of Fallujah, Iraq in November 2004.
