U.S. Army Spc. Erie E. Paxton of Columbus, Kan., a nodal network systems operator with Company C, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division is awarded the Bronze Star with Valor by his U.S. Army Maj. Gen. John F. Campbell, commander of Combined Joint Task Force-101 and Regional Command - East, Dec. 30.
