Gen. James F. Amos, 35th commandant of the Marine Corps, speaks to the Marines and sailors of Regimental Combat Team 2, wishing them a Merry Christmas aboard Forward Operating Base Delaram II, Dec. 25, 2010. One of many stops for the commandant, Amos shared a Christmas day meal with RCT-2. Traveling with the sergeant major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Carlton W. Kent, Amos expressed that there was no other place he and Kent would rather be than with Marines in Afghanistan celebrating the Christmas holiday.
